The new circuitry in our casting machine is based on the technology IGBT, applied in the dental field for the first time. The main characteristic of this system is the low frequency used during the melting, which generates a movement of the alloy enabling perfect homogeneity of all the components, taking care of the crystal structure and so the chemical and physical property of the casting. Furthermore, the action of the frequency is less aggressive, which allows this machine to be use for precious metal as well as for non precious alloys. The low electrical consumption (2.5Kw) is another important point, which is possible thanks to the completely solid state circuit which does not need a periodical service. Our machines are equipped with a centrifugal system, extremely silent and without any vibrations, which is reliable also for a low specific weight metals such as titanium. Following all European rules regarding security of the operator, our machines are also equipped with the devices which avoid breakdown or damage caused by operator error. Among all the options which are available for this equipment, we want to mention the automatic temperature control which is based on new technology. The reading of the temperature is carried out by a fiber optic, which is located directly over the crucible. The signal is sent to a PCB and working on the data received, stopping the melt when the pre-set temperature is reached. This system protects against overheating of the metal, because it improves the accuracy of the temperature. However we always recommend a visual check by the operator, because the components of the alloys used in the dental laboratory oxidize easily and can cause problems when reaching exact melting point.
